Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox Pittsburgh Concert reviews
Aural soundscapes fill my head
This was probably her best, other than the first concert of hers that I saw (Choirgirl Hotel). While I would have chosen a different set list, what she played was amazing. The string quartet brought elevated the songs to another level and it sounded "so right" on both the new songs and the old. I'll keep this short and sweet. If I had known it was going to be this good I would have caught the show in Austin as well. This is actually a 4 and a 1/2 star review with the only thing stopping it from being 5, the lack of either Northern Lad or Playboy Mommy.
